Murder in Minos is close to being complete. Today's writing session (5/4/26) saw the completion of Chapter 20: Erina and Lt. Murti join forces with a band of women-warriors who were driven out of the palace at Mallia. They travel to the palace of Zakros, where Erina meets up with the Governess Platanna. They plot to find a way to defend against the forces coming to destroy them.

Current Stage of Writing
Murder in Minos has now passed the 60,000-word total. I'm thinking the story will need another 10,000 words.
Visual and Setting Enhancements
To bring the setting for Murder in Minos to life, I've extensively studied the archaeology of Knossos and surrounding towns. These towns; Knossos, Mallia, Phaestos, and Zakros are the locations for the story. The goal has been to immerse readers in the unique atmosphere of this incredible culture, so vibrant 3500 years ago. I've described the towns as accurately as I've been able, hoping to make the Minoan culture not just a backdrop but a character in its own right.
