2025: Spain

I walked with a team from Davidson Day School, NC at the castle site, Zorita de los Canes. The castle was first constructed by the Moors, then taken over and rebuilt by the Crusaders, and eventually turned over the Spanish crown. It sits on a mesa overlooking the small town of Zorita in central Spain.

The area the team I worked with was attempting to discover the limits of a structure in the southwest section of the castle.

We were also trying to answer the question: Is our area a large room or is it an open space, possibly a corral?

We were not able to muster the evidence to answer the question by the end of the work season.
